Please only 1 entry per person.
From: 12 th October to 31 st October 2013....best of Luck !
I just would love the chance to knit with this yarn, after feeling it and finding how knits in a sample I'd then chose what to knit. I wouldn't waste any of it, yummy yarn :-)
Thinking of Hallowe'en...I would make a small shawl using all different stitches and shades which would be so ugly it would be beautiful! Think witches shawl ...heh, heh, heh! Can't wait to see you in Woodstock!
What a wonderful lot of yarn! I would knit a wide and fluffy lace pattern scarf with hat. I really like the light, natural tones that would be suitable with most other colours.
I still think entrelac when I see all the beautiful naturals, but I also get the dying itch. I'd split the pile in half and satisfy both halves of my split personality.
Two of my beloved family have recently moved overseas, where the winters can be bitterly cold. As they are truly itch-averse, I'd knit them a huge light warm shawl and scarf, with hats and gloves to match to keep them snug and warm!
I'd start with a smoke ring for my daughter in the Yukon. Next would be a fine pair of mitts to go inside a heavy felted pair. Then a watchman style cap for her partner. And then on and on until this pile was exhausted, and I know they are both surrounded in warmth.
I think a sampler blanket/throw would be super nice. I have never knit with this so idk for sure if that is a good idea or not.I'd love to see what this feels like to touch and see what it inspires me to knit, if not a throw/blanket. :)
Gloves, mittens, or fingerless gloves would be my choice to use this yummy yarn. Thanks so much for the chance to win!
