Actually I would weave some scarves and maybe a shawl. It is all quite beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI think it would have to be something against the skin, so scarves, cowls, would be what I'd make!
ReplyDeleteI would knit a real funky scarf, and I'm sure a lacy shawl :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat nice, bright colours! I would definitely knit a scarf, maybe a hat or mitts.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! These would make beautiful patterned mittens and maybe a matching hat.
ReplyDeleteI see color work mittens and hats. Also maybe some decadent house socks???? This lot could be loads of fun :)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a fun assortment of yarns and colors. I would definitely crochet a blanket in a very fun and colorful pattern.

ReplyDeleteI'd make stripy vests for my boys. Maybe a scarf too!
ReplyDeletewinterwrens at gmail dot com
I'd do a stripy scarf! As big as I can make it :-)
ReplyDeleteA scarf and a hat for Clara, my grandaughter. She has copper-red hair, and green is "her color".
ReplyDeleteBarbro in Sweden
The green in the middle looks wonderful for this upcoming spring, for which I can't wait to set in. Brrrrr, we are freezing our feet off here in Holland. Even though everything looks rather lovely when covered in snow, it hinders me to get outdoors. But of course there are people who enjoy it very much, like kids building snow men...
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, all! Ciao, Fleur (Fleurtje-Eliza on Ravelry)
I will definitely knit my favorite patterns from Ravelry: 1 Annis, 2 Color Affection shawls and a Zuzu's Petal cowl.
ReplyDeleteWith some lace I could even try a sheer scarf for summer.
Thank you as always for this amazing giveaway.
Oh, this looks like so much fun. I see lots of stripes in the future. :)
ReplyDeletejustsuzie_s at hotmail dot com
now that looks like a big ball of fun - with scarves, gloves and hats all possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI would knit small things, definitely hats and small carves for nieces and nephews. I see some of their favorite colors in there.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win these! I think I would make hats! Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteA blanket like metered squares or the bee keepers quilt.((((Hugs)))Darcy
ReplyDeleteInspired by your blog, I have been practicing my knitting all winter, AND am learning to crochet. I think I am ready to make myself a really nice shawl/scarf, something I have wanted for a long time. And I have almost perfected a hat pattern for my granddaughter. I would be thrilled to win -- who wouldn't?!
ReplyDeleteI'd knit socks!! Nice, warm socks to keep me through the snow I can just feel coming our way.
ReplyDeleteAnd, after close examination of colors and fibers, a shawl. Probably a shawl out of first pick, then socks.
My feet are freezing right now, if you couldn't guess.
I would definitely knit a cowl or two and hats. Possibly also fingerless mitts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
All those flower tones would make a wonderul intarsia garden scene on shawls or capelets. There's enough yarn ther to supply the whole family! Thanks for another generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI am a male and I am in love with Qiviut, although I never touch one.
ReplyDeleteI am living in the tropical country, but I think it is suit for our climate also.
Love that male sweater, but it is very expensive, maybe I have to start learn something to knit.
Btw, let me know if you have some used Qiviut sweater for sale, Queen.
Thank you in advance.

I would knit them up into a bunch of small projects, or fair isle colourwork. Great prize!
ReplyDeleteWarm hats, mittens, gloves, cowls, and maybe a shawl... Such fun colors!
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to try colorwork for a while now; this would be a great opportunity. I'm not sure if there would be enough for Ann Kingstone's 'Lissuin' but it would be a great start - and so soft!
ReplyDeleteAn entrelac lap blanket.
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting, exciting, jazzy colours!!! I would explore my creativity for legwarmers & matching wristwarmers for my jazzy niece who plays the sax.. thanks for opportunity...
ReplyDeleteOh, I see a cowl, mittens, and maybe a hat! Fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteI would love to crochet a hat with many of those colors! I just bought 4 skeins of natural from your ebay listings for my wife's valentines gift. (She has been wanting to knit with Qiviut ever since she heard how soft it was!)
ReplyDeleteI would knit a scarf and hat for myself. I knit for everyone but me. I knitted one gift for each member of my family for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking mittens - there are enough colours to do something fun.
ReplyDeleteI would knit a funky mixed yarn scarf and fingerless mitts to 'match'. This all looks so yummy!!
ReplyDeleteI would make fingerless gloves and hat set for myself and mittens for my grandbabies!
ReplyDeletei would knit baby beanies.

I would knit a shrug of many colors and a lacy scarf. Thanks for all the great info on your blog.
ReplyDeleteI would make some fingerless gloves for the grandies, and/or wide headbands with contrasting motifs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful lot of colors..!! They would make great gloves and flower inserts in the baby sweaters that I lover to knit and give away. It is always a pleasure to see the new mom's face when the sweater is slipped on the new little bundle of joy. I must say, my smile is just as big as the mom's. What a joy to give a gift that is lovingly made with hands of hope in the new life yet to come. Lizzi
ReplyDeleteI believe hats scarves and mitten are in order. I've never played with angora or buffalo but am devoted to qiviut and so are the friends I knit smoke rings for!
ReplyDeleteAccessories! Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI think a blanket to snuggle under on a winter's day in front of the fire watching the flickering flames. Those colours by firelight would be gorgeous :)
ReplyDeletex
Anything would look lovely with this assortment but I would probably make a scarf or shawl. Cecilia
ReplyDeleteWow, another great giveaway! With all this lovely yarn, I would knit/crochet hats, wristwarmers, cowls, and a teddy bear...and socks for sure. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteTalus
If were so lucky I would definitely knit some socks for my two brothers, my mom and my dad.
ReplyDeleteBut I would probably keep the angora and make myself some beautiful double knitted patterned gloves with bunnies on (='.'=) ^_^
Does weaving count? I would weave a scarf. If enough was left on the warp I'd make a small purse or wallet.
ReplyDeleteI came across your site on Ravelry while looking for Bison yarn.
Definitely hats the babies
ReplyDeleteI would knit hats and scarves
ReplyDeleteI would knit a scarf in a "crazy quilt" inspired design.
ReplyDeleteI'd crochet a sampler scarf, with all the stitches I'm learning, in different yarns. ^^
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking to try an ends rug or throw using all of my leftover yarns... those are beautiful, by the way!
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I would make would be a scarf for my son's Godfather as he was the one who told me about your wonderful Qiviut. After that I would knit some chemo hats as I work with a teacher whose spouse is undergoing chemo treatments at the moment and I read that another knitter always carries a finished chemo hat at the same time as knitting a new one in case she meets someone who also has a friend in need.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to make a qiviut smoke ring! My mom's was stolen in the '70s; I know she'd love to have another. I'd really like to try buffalo, to!
ReplyDeleteI would make a set of fair-isle mitts and coordinating hat and cowl... Oh yum!
ReplyDeleteWow,this is a lot,so generous of you.Perfect for accessories and blankets.
ReplyDeleteThe yarns would be woven into a beautiful soft and colourful shawl or two, augmented by stash yarns as required!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd have to make a denser knit hat for my husband than the one I just knit from bulky qiviut (the wind still gets through). Then I think I'd make myself a colorful, happy scarf.
ReplyDelete(InJuneau on Ravelry)
It looks like a scarf, maybe some socks, or a small afghan to me. Thanks for offering the yarn.
ReplyDeleteThe colors would knit up into the warmest, softest, cuddliest blanket ever. Such beautiful yarns!
ReplyDeleteI would pass this off to my wife for sure, and I can only imagine how many different projects she'd make with this yarn. She's wanted to knit with qiviut ever since we visited the Musk Ox farm in Palmer, Alaska this past summer.
ReplyDeleteWristwarmers, cowls, hats& mittens for our hunters in the Bering strait region.
ReplyDeleteI run the coffee shop in our church. We're changing to paper cups in an effort to go "green" and I'm going to be knitting some cup sleeves as a fund raiser for the children our shop sponsors; it would be really neat to make some out of qiviut! It would go for a good cause and show people what an amazing fiber this is!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, it would be lovely woven, with the colours running lengthwise and crossed with a neutral. Woven with a wee lace pattern it would be so scrumtious! Thanks for the opportunty to play!!
ReplyDeleteI imagine wristwarmer scarf glove or another little project for my friend and family
ReplyDeletethank a lot Qiviut Queen

Hope it's not too late! I was going to enter after class yesterday, but came down ill! D:
